Billing
Trial, plan, invoices, and the two AI allowances.
The Desk is one subscription per workspace, billed in your own currency, after a 14-day free trial. Billing is not in the sidebar: it sits under your portrait at the top right, with Account, because a subscription belongs to the account rather than to the practice's operations. Admins only.
What the page shows
Your plan and the state of the workspace, then one line that says where you stand: during the trial, the amount of the first charge and the day it lands; afterwards, what you are paying. Manage billingopens the secure Stripe portal — payment method, invoices and cancellation are handled there, not here, because we never hold a card number.

If a payment fails the workspace is paused until it is settled. Nothing is deleted; the desk comes back as you left it.
Moving up
Starter upgrades to Growth in one click and the prorated difference for the rest of the cycle is charged that day. Growth can request Scale, which is quoted rather than sold: nothing is charged until it is agreed. Scale is the one for several locations under one subscription — see Business.
What a plan unlocks is configuration rather than code, so the truthful list is the one on the page itself: a locked feature stays visible and greyed, and says which plan opens it. As things stand, Growth is where publishing and retention live — Social, Blog, Campaigns, the Landing page, review requests, recalls, the Loyalty card and online payments. The assistant is NOT one of them: it answers and books on Starter, because answering is the product rather than the upsell.
Monthly or yearly
A year costs ten months, so two are free. On monthly, Switch to annualchanges nothing that day: the month you have already paid runs to its end and the switch happens where the renewal would have been. The page says which date until it arrives — without that line a click that charges nothing reads as a click that did nothing.
The two AI allowances
They are counted separately because they answer to different people. Conversationsare threads the assistant handles for your clients — one thread is one conversation however many messages it takes, and follow-ups are free. Run out and the assistant hands new threads to your team rather than answering badly.
Creditsare what your team asks it to write, weighted by what each one costs: a reply draft 1, a caption 2, an article 10, a memory rebuild 12. Both meters sit where they are spent rather than on this page — conversations on Agent, credits on Writing and Memory — and both reset on the 1st. The nightly refresh of your business memory is on us and is charged to nobody.
